My influences run from Metallica, Nirvana, Slayer, Anthrax, Ozzy, Pantera, Type 0 Negative, Unloco, Zug Island and Aerosmith to old school rappers, like Eazy E, Tupac, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, ICP and Ice T and of course I will not forget the 80's hair bands. I enjoy most every genre of music and am inspired by all of it. I grew up in a family that listened to Country and Rock and found my way to my own style. I was a long haired heavy metal hippy back in the 80's, but what white boy wasn't. I was also a vocalist in a heavy metal band in the late 80's. I have been inspired to do some totally different music with all of the new Punk, Rap, R&B, Rock, Metal and alternative music hitting the charts lately. Basically if I hear music I listen no matter what genre it is.

You never know what I might drop out there. A little thug style rap, an alternative rock tune, some heavy Metal. Hell I might even drop a love song or something(but that is doubtful). Jack(DoC)Salvation was known as Jack D with the group RIPnCRU. You have heard the album "LOST", a full demo album with some rap and some hiphop. Then there was The Haunted Unknown, A second demo album with some more hiphop and some alternative. Third was My Brain is on Fire, an ep of all alternative with one hiphop song. Now working on his 4th album, DoC is done writing and recording a heavy Metal/hardcore album DELUSIONS OF REALITY and dropped under the name LOST SALVATION http://myspace.com/docslostsalvation
DoC is now the Vocalist and second bassist for the band DNYD. They will be hitting the studio in April to work on an thier first album.
