I was born in Santa Rosa, CA and raised in Kenwood, CA. I have been writing songs as long as I can remember. Before I could talk well, I began whistling. Starting out on the piano, I developed an ear for music and went on to make my home midi recording studio when I was nine. Playing all the parts to the songs, I was making great multi-track recordings and learning new techniques. Some of the other instruments that I started playing first were the slide guitar (dobro) and then the electric guitar. When I went to middle school out in Sebastopol things changed. Wanting to make a band and join up with other musicians, I found “The Great Burro Studios.” This is where I formed the band called Collision Point. After a year and a half the band broke up because of musical differences. Spencer Burrows coached me in different aspects of songwriting and singing while my long time guitar teacher, Keith Richman taught me the ways of guitar. I was in a band called AWOL for about 4 years. Now, back on the piano, I'm writing songs. This is what I was born to do.
When a plague threatens the world, a plan is made to store all of the knowledge of mankind, from the internet. Our only hope is a web design/education firm in Silicon Valley. Their idea is great, but with their resources small and stress from the government, they take a big chance. "The Repository" is an awkward dramatic comedy that poses the question... " If we only had one chance to be remembered as a planet, would we be prepared? Would we find the right programers? Most Importantly... How will we be remembered?
This project was a $0 budget, limited resources, high school film project by Jackson Rosenfeld. Enjoy!
