The next EWO Club is on Friday October 3rd, and we've got a very special guest DJ... Mr. Popp of the wonderful Frank Popp Ensemble flying over from Germany for his first trip to Scotland... so lets show him a good time!
Frank has become a world renowned DJ since he first started playing records back in 1996. You can hear why on his Myspace page, pay particular attention to 'Behind Locked Doors' and 'No Silver Bird'.

What's that we hear you ask ?.......
Surely it's more than 3 years ?.......
Well, in truth, Melting Pot, as a concept, has been going, on and off, for over ten years. We've run gigs, clubs and various events during that time. The DJ line up has varied & the venues have varied.
But..... 3 years ago we began a regular club night on the last Saturday of every month upstairs in Starka, Brandon Street, Motherwell. We've still done lots of other things but this night is the cornerstone of what we do & what Melting Pot is all about...... To provide Lanarkshire with it's only regular Mod night.
Our 6 DJ's Stuart, Scott, Matt, John, Craig & Ally, along with the occasional guest, all provide their own different slant on this in what they play, helping to make the club what it is - a true Melting Pot of Soul, R'n'B, Beat, Ska and Funk.
As a thank you to all our friends and the people who have supported the club, helping to make it the great night out it is, we've put together this FREE compilation CD which all will receive on entry.. For those of you who have been to the club these are some of our personal faves, and hopefully yours too. For those of you who haven't been yet this is what you are missing.
