From the suburban slums of San Diego comes Jack The Original, a four-piece band with a charisma and musical style remnant of The Beatles. Jack The Original formed in 1996 while in junior high school, and has spent ever since writing countless songs, playing countless shows, and getting overwhelming acclaim from their ever-growing fan-base of dorky boys and girls. Their unique style of piano drivin dork pop has evolved, into an irresistable blend of memorable melodies and original arrangements. jack the original has just released their highly ambitious debut album: "Why The Long Face?" After one week of the band's debut album being pressed they had an excited crowd buzzing in anticipation to see them perform at the House Of Blues in Downtown San Diego. Jack the Original has since performed at venues like The Casbah, The Belly Up Tavern, The Viper Room and many other venues on the west coast. They have also opened for "The Romantics" and "Veruca Salt" at the Belly Up. jack the original fuses old school charisma with modern style and sound. They plan to keep playing and evolving as a band, And by the looks of their debut album Why The Long Face? one can only ponder and wait to see who discovers them next.

Every Christmas season, I find myself wondering, what kind of a kid was Jesus? I mean, after he got himself out of the manger? We shot this video in 1992 with my daughter Willow. It's won some awards and is used in churches, temples & Sunday school classes. It addresses homelessness and caring for each other on this planet. It's called WHEN JESUS WAS A KID.
