Jack Topht with the Vegetables wield their, hilarious and sobering, stream of americana commentary via minimal punk fervor like a radical lazer pistol that can correct 9 zillion interconnected bad habits with one zap.
Part M.C., part motivational speaker, part performance artist, part folkie- Long time Buffalo noise musician, Jack Topht mixes Bob Dylan and Kool Keith's lyrical attack styles with nods to bands like King Missile, Crass, and the Minutemen's vocalized information blasting and live rock power. Jack is accompanied by innovative one woman band, "The Vegetables", Lindsey Grate. Lindsey simultaneously plays the keyboard and drum set summoning pefrectly minimal grooves that blend a three chord(3 note!) punk/blues/folk aesthetic w/the funky economy of early hip hop DJs. Together they create a new free american rock and roll experience where listeners can smile freely in the warmth, unpretentiousness, and head noddability of these gentle practitioners of enthusiasm wrangling.
Live, Jack Topht w/ the Vegetables get tender w/the audience but they get buck wild with the audience too and the audience enjoys this. Equal parts silly and political, Jack Topht makes people smile. Jack Topht is a performance artist preacher that explores a range of characters, topics and sensibilities (sarcastically or dead pan and often both) through constantly shifting improvised lyrics molded to each performance.
Since 2006 Jack Topht with the Vegetables have shared bills with Load Records artists:Neptune, USA is a Monster and Fat Worm of Error, They have also opened for School of Language and comedian Doug Stanhope. Lindsey and Jack would like to play everywhere, please get in touch with them about that

it seems like we will be sharing the stage again there in Rochester! Good times I am sure. The Black Bloc brutality has ramped up by about 43 percent over the summer, with an increased pissed-offness figure of about 87. =)
I expect some lighter waving anthems from you all =p
