Jack Waldheim - writes the songs, bangs the guitars, little slide, some mandolin, sings the voice, whatever needs doing, drinks the wine.
On Upcoming Album:
Bobby Sweet - played the guitars, rang out to mando, expressed on the violin, and was very cool and helpful... (check out bobbysweet.com)
Pete Adams - dobro-ed up some haunt, and made angelic ringing from the pedal steel...
Jodi Lampro - glued it all with the thumping of the low-end guit...
Rick Leab - rhythmed the rhythms on the rhythmic devices...
The Rocakbilly Band:
Dave Christopolis - da-dum-dum-dums on the upright bass-box
Andy Crawford – the grooviest funking drummer in the universe
Also plays often with:
Chris Mattoon - the drum drum beat, cajon’s the kit or otherwise.
Sky Smeed – songwrites his-self, duo show energizes and refreshes audiences better than most soft drinks (skysmeed.com)

Sounds Like
Jack Waldheim.........
Here it is. The collective infusion of memory. The nostalgic contemplation on the whole thing, written on a beat up old guitar. It is a picture of a man devoid of anger and left with moments. Poetic and original, it is as much the moist and red curtained window to the mind as it is an indepentant film of a life. The band explodes into the "Mr. Freakshow" refrain with a desperate notion of introspection, as it all moves on from there; a declaration of tragic and graceful beauty with contrast and subtlety. This album feels like what the best dreamers see. It is acoustic and electric, full band and solo guitar, sung and sometimes spoken, and subtly familiar but always new. With surprises lurking in the sound, the music is infused with the whisper of life as it emerges hopeful, and exposes the feeling, always the feeling.
New Album! Recorded live in the studio with an amazing band. Out Now! Check it out at www.crazyjanerecords.com, www.jackwaldheim.com
Writing songs has always been something that Crazy Jane Records artist, Jack Waldheim, has done. Growing up in Western MA, he began writing songs on a piano his mother bought for him. Most of "Jane" was written on his old guitar in a dark room, with the windows open, on those summer nights that make you think about the end.
