2. Black And White Rag - just a bit of fun, my kids wanted me to post something really fast :-)
3. Funky Jamm - I just set up a groove-loop on my Korg Extreme so that I could improvise over it using my Rhodes noise underneath
4. Somewhere Over The Rainbow - my version, very simple and deliberately laid back ( it's wee bit different from the mp3 above )
5. Georgia On My Mind - this is a wee clip one of my late Dad's favourite songs, he used to play it to me on piano when I was young, although his version was a good bit straighter than mine.
My Blog
I play piano / keyboards and been heavily involved in the music industry for more than 20 years. I'm Glasgow / Scotland based, and done just about everything there is to do from recording in the likes of Cava Studios, ParkLane and The Palladium, was a member of the Paisley rock band Buddha Grass Harbour, I've toured Scotland and the UK extensively, I've recorded and toured with the well known Italian artist Umberto Marzotto in Italy, I've played venues from King Tutts in Glasgow to the Rome Palladium, Italy. I also did some session keys on well known prog-rock band Abel Ganz's new album Shooting Albatross in 2007 - check the first video above for a snippet of me playing Hammond on that session, I've also done few sessions of online recording with SubClub, just finished a studio session with Emotional Rescue on their track Genocide, I've played as a cocktail pianist in most top hotels in Scotland, played in a variety of different styles of bands from Celtic Rock, to the infamous 10 piece Jazz Funk outfit Fred Quimby Quartet, and I have even co-ran a pretty successful Scottish Showband doing private and corporate functions etc

The MP3's above - in particular Track 1 - TV Themes - is purely a bit of fun but also demonstrates the kind of quality I get from my instruments and my home studio. The other tracks will give you a good indication of what standard of player I am. I write, record and produce for 3rd party individuals or bands mostly done online in my home studio to keep costs down. Just send me your MP3 guide track and an idea of what you want, I will record your ideas and even some of my own and send you CD quality wav's of either the separate tracks, or the completed final mix for you. I use CubaseSX3, stacks of great Native VST plugins, B4 for awesome Hammonds, Elektric Piano for the best Rhodes and Wurlitzers, a real Yamaha Digital Grand Piano, Korg Triton Extreme 76, usual effects racks etc. I also do session work in pro-studios for those with a larger budget.

I also teach piano / keyboards in my spare time from beginners to advanced and cover most genres from Funk, Rock, Blues, light Jazz, Ballads, Pop and even a bit of New Orleans style shuffles.
