I am signed as a staff writer with Mr. Steve Bloch and Southern Cow Music and we are getting my new songs out there in full force.
As for my background I started writing songs for Pete Townshend of
The Who many years ago.
From there I had eight of my songs recorded by a huge British rock band called Uriah Heep. At that time they were very high up on the arena rock list along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
One of my proudest accomplishments came when the legendary
Gregg Allman recorded one of my songs that I co-wrote with
Warren Haynes called Just Before The Bullets Fly which was the also the title of Gregg's album and the he put it on his greatest hits CD.
Along with that blues legend Son Seals recorded
Just Before The Bullets Fly and then put it out it on his greatest hits CD and then that same song was the opening song in the movie Renegades that Keiffer Sutherland and Lou Diamond Phillips starred in.
At that time Ken Hensley who was the lead songwriter and keyboardist in Uriah Heep had just recently recorded three of my songs on his new European discography.
Another one of my songs called Send Me An Angel was recorded by the southern rock band Blackfoot.
When it comes to Country Music, in the past I've had two of my songs recorded by The Oak Ridge Boys and one by Lane Brody.
Two years ago when Lance Miller on was on Warner Brothers Records recorded one of my songs that I co-wrote with Don Poythress called Without You and Kristina Cornell who is on Lofton Creek Records has recorded one of my songs called Whenever It Rains that I wrote with Kristina and
Dave Gibson.
Recently an independent artist from Detroit, whose name is Tommy Steele recorded his new CD with 11 of my songs on it and I am very proud of it and how it all sounds! Hopefully something great will come out of that and we will all be happy!
With the grace of God I can continue to write good songs for a long time to come.

Hello My Dear Friends!
Sorry I haven't been in touch for so long, but over the winter I had major abdominal surgery, and though recovery has been slow, it has been steady and I'm starting finally to feel like my old self again. For surviving my wife bought me a new Stratocaster that I hope to include on some new songs in the very near future. I hope all is well with you and that 2009 is bringing BIG things your way. I just wanted to stop by and say I'm still alive ....literally!
All of my love and the absolute best to you and yours,
David England
It's nice to see a picture of you with a guitar in your hand, and a microphone in front of you.
We did the Galapagos Islands, and are in the S. Pacific right now. We'll be in Costa Rica in a couple of weeks. I don't know when I'll be back in Nashville, though. I hope I get there this year.
Jack Williams - Join us in congratulating record producer Kim Copeland for her work on the Rachel Williams album, Lonely At The Bottom. Check this great review by R.K. Oermann with Music Row Magazine on Rachel's current single, The Only Thing Harder Than Leaving.
"She has the goods. This creeps up on you with cat’s paws. The languid pace, echoing instruments, spacious production and her hushed, aching delivery are all immensely seductive. The lyric of leaving home is full of terrific details. And her falsetto leaps in the bridge are like little daggers to the heart. A mini masterpiece. This, by the way, is the third single in a row that I have raved about from this performer. "
Hey Jack! What's up? Thanks for referring me to Larry Beaird's place. I did 3 songs with them a couple of weeks ago. I recorded some of my bands songs as country songs. The only one I have finished is Faster. Check it out, it's on my page. I hope everything is going well for you. Maybe we can get together and write sometime.
