Jaclyn Chilcote is a junior at West Chester University of PA, majoring Musical Theatre with a minor in music. She is a member of the Cantari Donne Advanced Women’s chorus, University Theatre, The Opera Workshop Ensemble, and is the reigning Miss West Chester University for 2008. She made her operatic debut in West Chester University’s 2006 production of ’Gianni Schicchi’ (Gheradino). Since then she has appeared in Mark Adamo’s ’Little Women The Opera’ (2006) and Johann Strauss’ "Die Fledermaus" (2007). She has appeared in West Chester University Productions of "Cole" and The Student Directed One Acts. Jaclyn is also a frequent recitalist and soloist at West Chester University and in the community. She is available for hire for weddings and other special events. Upon graduation she plans to pursue her master’s degree in performing arts management. I worked on composition of a few arias in the late winter, spring and early summer of 1997 while maintaining a full work load of solo piano concerts and composition. The singer I was writing with moved to California to pursue an opera company and I moved to Seattle to write short stories and breathe.
