Jacob Blue consists of three men dedicated to spreading God's message of hope and salvation in hopes of bringing others to know Him. Bio
Jacob Blue has a knack for creating never before heard melodies. It has always been vital to them not to absorb themselves into other's music, therefore producing a copycat sound. They like being fresh, new, and original. Their style has been influenced by 60's style artists such as Bob Dylan, Southern Gospel music, 70s and 80s Rock, Country music, and even a touch of Blues. Their music is received by Christians and non-Christians alike. It breaks down age barriers, and folks from six to sixty have become their fans. John recruited one of his childhood friends, Bass Player Danny Pearson, and then in early 2006 added longtime friend, Drummer John Nicklason to complete the formula for Jacob Blue. These three men combined capture the sound John and Danny had hoped for, and are what make Jacob Blue. With a sound reminiscent of the 60's, 70's, and 80's combined, Jacob Blue has stumbled into a music genre all their own. It is refreshing to find a band such as this in today's world. Their songs are a delight for all ages, touching the hearts of those 10 to 100! The lyrics hold meaning and are easy to relate to. The melodies are not too "over done" or "under done". You will fall in love with the music of Jacob Blue. They give all glory and honor to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
