Hello there Bocajstudios art portfolio was moved to http://www.flickr.com/photos/bocajstudios/ Hello, everyone Jacob Hostetler is a 10 year veteran of US Army /Army National Guard, has Bachelor of Fine Art degree in Studio Art, with minors in Art History, Painting, and Graphic Design. Class of 2008 from Youngstown State University. Starting my third semester at the Academy of Art online program. It's alright haha, that's understandable.
The P.A. we used is Our Drummer's system and at practice it is always fine, he's been in about 4 or 5 other bands using the same P.A. and has never had that problem with not being able to hear the singer, we even used two more extra 18" speakers to put her through. The main problem was we didn't have a great sound check or a sound engineer out in the crowd with an external mixing board to adjust everything. Up there we all heard ourselves fine, I couldn't hear anyone but me so I turned myself down. We're going to work on getting our sound more balanced in the next few smaller shows.
90% of the time the venue has a system and a guy to work it so the sound is alot better.
