I’m a poet. I do a lot of work with literature in education, and I’m passionate about supporting the development of emerging artists. I’m the artistic director of the London Teenage Poetry SLAM and the Camden Youth SLAM, an editor for flipped eye press, and I manage http://www.metaroar.com and http://www.thefoundryproject.org. I’m also pretty handy with tech, and I’ve usually got a camera to hand. If you’d like to know more, check me out at the following (neatly labelled and categorised) locations:

I just wanted to say how much i love 'Manifesto'. I've been meaning to tell you for ages.
I found your page by accident from someone elses, but I heard that poem on a Giles Peterson show about 18 months ago. He mixed it over some jazz on a spoken word showcase. It was my favorite of all the poems on the show and When I found your MySpace page I was really excited and wanted to tell you that it is a really inspiring piece.
Hi Jacob, thanks for accepting. I think you should come back up to Scotland to do some performances (I see you've been to Glasgow already). I really like Freedom and Never... love the innocence of your cousin and that it kind of represents all of us (once upon a time!) all the best Claudia xx
Hey! Thanks for accepting! I´m looking to do some fun and funky networking for my writing on here and you seemed kinda cool...anyways. A creative environment is always a good environment in my world.

Hi Jacob ,great to be your friend, I really enjoyed your 4 tracks, Manifesto is immense and your delivery superb, convincing with conviction and to think there is no musical support here only you,the words and the mike. Malcolm
Hello Jacob. Thanking you sir... your creative craftmanship. There is a very fine underlying positivity and strength. So damned refreshing thinks I. G.
Jacob! Coming to London in Feb. You MUST show an Aussie girl around the poetry scene! Will only be there for a week or so, I'll let you know the dates when I know. Happy to help out with an event or anything too! xo
