Jacob Thomas first picked up a guitar eight years ago. What started as a chore eventually became a hobby. That hobby quickly turned into a love and that love, a passion. Now, at 17, Jacob has taken his career to new heights releasing his first recorded collection of music. His CD, entitled Livin’ Up (produced by Colby Wedgeworth: Josiah James, Bidwell), has received rave reviews from his ever growing fan base. Lol yeah. I haven't done anything that awesome yet other than have a pre-party at his show, but that was from something else anyway, but I started getting to know the fans in person and stuff. I don't get paid, but I'm sure in the long run there will be some kind of reward like getting to hang out with him or him knowing me by name...even though he already knows my face and remembers me, lol.
I pretty much run Department 9 which is Alaska, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. If any of the fans have questions, they run them through me and my other 3 department leaders, and we work with Jonas Group to give them the correct answers. And we do promotion and stuff like that.

Recently, just a spot as one of the leaders of Nick Jonas' street team that thousands of people went after. And I also won an OK Go contest where their bass player, Tim Nordwind, changed the voice mail message for when my friends call me.

Oh, sounds awesome :) Yes, life is so busy at the moment. It doesn't look like my grandpa is going to make it through another week, so I am really emotional :( And of course I'll vote for you :)
That sounds awesome :) Are you like in college too? No way, I had pizza buffet for lunch, how funny. Haha I know...I'm a dork :P I've just been getting ready to move my grandparents into my house, move out of my room into a tiny room. Catching up on schoolwork, and trying to just maintain the balance of life, you know? It's a lot, but as soon as it settles, it'll feel great.
Alright, well I hope I will be able to go :) I'm pretty sure it will be alright. My grandparents are both moving in with my family this week and need care 24-7, so if my family can't manage without me, I might not be able to :( But I'm thinking one day might not be a huge deal for them.
Yay for Retro :) The 6th works with my schedule too I think. I have more friends that would be able to go on a Saturday. Who else is playing? I've seen so many bands like more than once by going to Retro shows. It's all good though. Nothing like good music and good friends :)
Haha yes. It was one of the most amazing experiences I've had with that kid. I guess I'm just in love with the fact that he remembers me still. Two times in a row he has haha. And yes, that's the song. It was sooo rad to see/hear it live. His sound is so funktastic and amazing.
