About me:
My dear friend, Kim Gazecki, maintains this page for me -- I could not possibly keep up with it all myself. Kim is the wife of William Gazecki, the director of the documentary recently completed on my life and work, Future by Design. I enjoy hearing from you all and please know that I do see everything you write -- and I find it very interesting and encouraging. I am very happy that many new people are becoming aware of my work and ideas.

My background includes industrial design and social engineering. I have worked as both designer and inventor in a wide range of fields spanning from biomedical innovations to totally integrated social systems.

I'm interested in the integration of the best of science and technology into a comprehensive plan for a new society based on human and environmental concern.

The complete focus of my concern right now is the destructive state of affairs most of the Earth finds itself in. I'm concentrating all my efforts and time on introducing a new social design and values to the public and hopefully doing this through a major motion picture.

My organization, The Venus Project, promotes a global vision of hope for the future of humankind in our technological age.

Hallo! Here’s some news about our environment & irresponsible corporate practices. The Kimberly Clark paper product company which makes Kleenex & Cottonelle is wiping away our ancient growth boreal forests. Canadian Boreal forest provide 30% of our oxygen, stores enormous amounts of carbon & combats global warming. It is also habitat & gives sustenance to humans & other life in its ecosystem.

Literally, we are wiping our asses with ancient boreal forests along with their ecosystems & the many lives lost. Kimberly Clark products use little to none recycled content. Not only is kleercutting causing more global warming, wildfires caused by global warming causes deforestation! It's time to stop this endless cycle of destruction, let's spread the word & save our forests! Visit http://www.kleercut.net to read more.

Wishing you many blessings

We both work so that we may no longer have the need to labor unwantingly, as most have labored as such far too long already.

Deep technologists, like yourself, have mentioned for sometime now that we are headed toward a way of life that will be of no cost, or at least virtually free, within the realms of feasibility.

This labor free environment is what I call an Effortless Economy, an economic environment without labor. There are two important principles I will mention briefly that I think add to our discussion in free society.

(1) Zero-point competition. This is emergent behavior of business competition and consumer demand whereby the firm most prefers zero cost to produce goods for a consumer who prefers not to pay for them.

and

(2) Mutually Assured Production, (MAP) a quip on Von Neumann's Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) This proposal assumes that all wars, more or less, are based on means to economic gain of one sort or another. If that is the case, each individual 'armed' with a mutually assured ability to produce will dissolve the need for the wages of war altogether.

I wrote on how we might see the rise of a free society in the essay Towards an Effortless Economy (effortlesseconomy.com)

Here's one statistic you may not be aware of that I think applies to our discussion. In the United States, the richest 1 percent of tax filers have claimed 80 percent of all income gains reported in federal tax returns between 1980 and 2005. The smoke screen of this terrorism business and whatnot has dissuaded talk on the real issues like these. When global economic inequality and global murder statistics are contrasted, that alone seems to prove a bulk of what causes murderously violent behavior. I think it's only a matter of time before the economy collapses or people get fed-up and revolt violently as the gap increases towards further impoverishment. Ideally, income inequality needs to be discussed with an implementable solution.

What an interesting concept. I'm very impressed just by the little bit of advertising on the project and your work that I've seen. I would like to purchase the dvd soon to find out more about this project and how I can help. I have added you to my top 28 on my page to hopefully spread the knowledge of your site's existence to others on the web. I'm a musician, a vocalist in a band, and I am very curious to find out how your project would work for people like me. What would a musician/artist do in a world such as the one you describe in your project? The thought of simply existing to produce my music and sing for people and perform dances and shows just because I love doing it is very pleasant and supposedly, the society you describe would allow for this on a free basis as there is no money involved. Perhaps musicians and artists will be the first ones to understand and embrace this idea more quickly for the unselfish desire that is already inherent in us to perform, create art, write music and poetry for free. Idealistically the quality of art therefore would be higher with everyone free to pursue their life dreams without having to worry about paying the bills for rent, light, water, groceries, etc...The concept is hard to grasp as everything revolves around money it seems. I happen to live in South Florida. I have been considering visiting the project location sometime in the future as well to see first hand the models you've described. Great work.

Dear Jacque: when I was a kid growing up in the projects of America, I dreamed of places far away in detail,at the time I had no ideal they where real places on this planet, (I had no ideal that my journey this life would lead me 2 see the developments which actually start from the inside of each being.) there are many who will not understand that phrase in this life. MY MISSION THIS LIFE IS IN LINE WITH UR DREAMS,UR CONCEPTS OF SOCIAL UNDERSTANDING AND DEVELOPMENT OF MANKIND. THROUGH EXPERIENCE OF WHY,HOW,WHEN. I have been looking to meet U since 2000(which is when I knew I had all of the details)
I have talents,in stand-up comedy, poetry, music, motivational speaking.etc etc.etc. and a connection to a group of people I'd love to introduce u to, because their history goes back 60,000 year's and there storey has not been told...at lease not the way it happened to me!
Looking forward to meeting U.....

To change the world we have to start with ourselves. You and I have to meet. Look people in the eye. See the person in everyone you see.
The whole world is like us.

Vi i Världen (We in the world) is planning Scandinavias biggest environment festival in Västerås Sweden 14 july 2007. A festival free for all. A festival to shine light on the problem our planet is in with the global warming and global consciousness. It is going to be a fantastic oppurtunity for us people to meet and see what WE can do together. Not to meet to throw stones but to meet and see how WE can work together to make this planet the wonderful world it can be. It is you and I that can do something about it.
WE can do it now.
