Finished Mercy a few days ago and I want more already! Your series are truly addicting and keep you craving more! On pins and needles, waiting for my next fix... :)
read mercy in about seven hours last night, and woke up this morning thinking, "I want to go back...". I think you did a fantastic job, not many authors make me hurt when I realize I've read everything they have out.
Alrighty..my son is happy I finally finished Mercy..he got it and read it the first stinkin day..LOL..Now we can talk about it. Thank you! Once again, a terrific book in one of my most favorite series by one hell of an author!
OK, I have finished Mercy. Whew! How you keep this so high quality, I will never know - you are truly a writer's writer. Just as good as the rest of it. I cannot wait to see what else you come up with. You have a fan for life (plus I've turned dozens of people on to your works). Thank you for sharing your art with us!
Thanks for the add. I have been a devoteed fan of yours since I first picked up Kushiel's Dart my sophmore year in H.S. You weave a story like no other I have ever read and I can't wait until the new series comes out...please don't leave us in suspense for too long!
Thanks so much for the add! I have loved every last book in the Kushiel's Legacy series. Imriel is a truly inspirational character to me. Good luck on your next series.
Thank you so much for the add! I have thoroughly enjoyed your Kushiel series. I am overwhelmed with your language and deft usage of first person narrative. I'm looking forward to the new series!
Is it wrong to have the hots for Melisande in all her evil glory??? Unspeakable beauty, brains, and she grows more and more feeling/human by each book! I'm halfway through Mercy and I just can't get enough. I'm savouring it now because it is just so wonderful (Sidonie and Imriel's love story) and I hate the wait for new novels to come out! LOL I am partial to the first 3 novels because I enjoyed Phedre as the female protagonist.
Jacqueline, I was thinking it would be veeeery delicious to have Sidonie and Imriel's daughter be a Melisande incarnate. ;-) Oh, there is fun to be had with that!!!! Another 300 pages left to read to see if I get a chance to get my wish!
Finally I bought and finished Mercy in a day.. It was wonderful.. My favorite of Imirel's trilogy. Now I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumb for your next masterpiece.. Can't wait!
I finished Mercy yesterday and I am sad and happy all at the same time. It's sad that this is the end. I'm rereading the original series now, I'll never be able to get enough of Phaedra. Maybe someday you'll bless us with another book.
I finally broke down and bought Mercy...I had been wanting it months before it was released and when it was released I couldn't aford to buy it. It literally almost killed me to be without it and know that it was out there just waiting to be read! So...I bought it on my credit card. Not finished yet, but I know I'll love it. I've love them all. Thank you for doing what you love and allowing us all to enjoy another universe through your books. :-)
Well, I just finished Mercy. Literally, 3 minutes ago. Thank you. Just thank you. It was beautiful and brought a few tears to my eyes. That doesn't happen often.
My Mom just had surgery so she's at home now with nothing to do. So, I started her reading your books. She's very interested so far.
I finished Mercy last night and wanted to give you the kudo's you deserve. It was a great book and I loved every part of it. I adore the whole series and will read them again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.
I just finished reading Kushiel's Mercy and it was absolutely AMAZING. Thank you for such an incredible journey. From Dart to Mercy ,they have all been works of art!
You're gift of writing really inspires me. Kushiel's Mercy was another amazing accomplishment. No other books I have read draw me in as much as these do. Thanks for being so amazing!
I was so upset these past two weeks b/c if I would have ordered my book from Amazon I would have had it early! Instead, I had mine reserved at Borders and they didn't call me! I called to check up on it and they said (so casually) "Oh, it's here." THANKS BORDERS! And I started a new job this past week so my reading time has been limited. However, I finished last night :) Jacqueline, it's another winner. Definitely the most involved story! I loved it. And thank you for not killing Josceline. I may not have forgiven you :) Can't wait to read the next! And the next, and the next :) Kushiel's Legacy was beautiful. I'm recommending it to all my friends. Kudos. :)
I picked up Kushiel's Mercy last night and am nearly finished with it; cannot wait to see how it ends! And I cannot wait to see you in Chicago on Tuesday!
Bravo. Mercy was spectacular; a truly satisfying ending to Imriel's story. I'll miss those characters, of course, but look forward the to new adventures with the half D'Angeline heroine, and whatever else you dream up with that vivid imagination of yours! You are so gifted. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Mercy was the perfect close to this legacy. Thank you.
I want you to know that never once did I struggle through any of the six books hoping to come to something more interesting or skip over a single word, the moment I started reading one I had to keep going to the end. How you manage pacing, characters, settings, plots, philosophy, details and all those other things that make up a book so perfectly is beyond me especially in such a wondrously complex world, but I'm more than glad to read it.
I think its awesome that you support the tattoos, its true for me at least, it symbolizes the books yes, but in reading the books theres much more that it has become to symbolize in my life as well. You're amazing, which I'm sure you know. :) And come to the east coast next book tour!
About the tattoos, per the question somewhere below, no, I don't mind. In a sense, once a book is out there, the story belongs to all of you as much as it does to me. Phedre's marque is a symbol that resonates with many different readers for different reasons. For some, it's a symbol of emancipation, for others, it's a celebration of self-acceptance. Some just think it's a cool design! Me, I'm honored to have created something that's taken on its own iconic significance.
Costumes, now, those are just fun! I always enjoy seeing them.
Thanks for the add! Love all your books, although I am sure you hear that all the time! I am making you quite popular here in Oklahoma. I have a question though. How much do you really mind people using your ideas and getting themselves tattooed, and dressing up like your characters, amongst other things? It really does show a dedicated fan base. Too bad I'm a red head, would have loved to be blond like Sidonie...LOL
I must say that Kushiel's Mercy was not what I expected. It was far better then I expected. It was a tale that had to be told, a tale that will stay with me for the rest of my life. And for that I want to thank you. It is by far one of the best books I've read, and once again I thank you. I could thank you many times but I will just leave it with this, thank you bringing it around full circle. And may we learn to love thou as wilt.
