Jacqueline Taieb was born in Tunis, Tunisia in 1948. She had composed her first songs by age 12, and recorded her first single, "7 Heures Du Matin," by 18. Her songs combine Arab, European, and American influences. Although some of Jaqueline's songs have been re-issued on numerous French pop collections, her original records are rare and sought-after among collectors.
