I love interior design, painting ceramics and floral design when I'm not writing. Reading is my all-time favorite thing to do but as a published author I don't get to do it much anymore. I usually don't read other's work when I'm writing but when I'm not on a deadline--I consume at least 2 books a week. My family and I also enjoy Broadway Shows. ..Music
I really love Gospel music!! Some of my favorite artists are: Mikki Kornegay, Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Nicole C. Mullen, Deitrick Haddon, Donnie McClurken, Marvin Sapp, The Clark Sisters, Kurt Franklin, Nolan Williams Jr. and many many others. Contemporary R&B and Jazz are also loves of mine. I love all of Alexx Daye's music and can't wait for her album to drop. I've discovered some great music on MySpace by artists: Jean Toussaint, Kyle Turner, Candy Dulfer and Arturo Tappin. ..Movies
I love dramas--especially tear jerkers like The Color Purple, Steel Magnolias, The Perfect Storm, Pearl Harbor and Titanic but I also enjoy action-adventure movies like Executive Decision, Air Force One, Independence Day, S.W.A.T. & Walking Tall ... ..Television
I'm a big Law & Order fan so I love them all--CSI Miami, CSI New York, Criminal Intent, Without A Trace, and Law & Order Special Victims Unit. I also love Shark, The Closer, Criminal Minds, Ugly Betty, The Unit and 24. ..Books
Any book that is a good read--I just love a good story! I love romance novels, mystery/thrillers, science fiction ... a story that will draw me in and keep me turning the pages.
