    I finished the book, and I have to say "Beautiful!"
    That's my kind of ending, too. I know you probably have a bunch of questions to answer, but the conflict is resolved. Plus, Don's at peace.

    Your book is mmmmm-mmmmm good.


    Don is so innocently honest and altogether humble, but the reason he is humble and scared all the time is very sad. I love how his sentences continue for whole paragraphs; I enjoy that kind of internal monologue.


    Do you know of Walter Wangerin's the Book of the Dun Cow? It's about chicken life, but it is a fantasy story.
