This is Part 1 & 2 of my Rob Smith interview for my weekly music show 'The Bridge' on www.yourmusiclive.tv This is me introducing Dublin Based Rock Trio 'Shiversaint' @ Tower Records in Dublin April 12th 2008, for yourmusiclive.tv, To mark the launch of their Debut E.P. 'Curiosity Fills The Soul' Poor sound quality as it was taken by a friend with a digi-cam, but ya get the idea!! This is a snippet of me Interviewing 'Shiversaint', poor quality but the official footage is on the way I seem to have lost all the info in my 'About Me' section, huh well here goes again!! I danced competitively for many years, i was forced to give it up about 12 years ago to have extra bones removed from both ankles, ha I kid you not!! so that ended that career. Completed the TV Presentation and Production course with Bil Keating (tv Legend), in Oct 2006 and suddenly realised that this is where I was supposed to be, gone were the nerves and self doubt, it just felt 'right.' Hoorah:) Music and People are my passion!!! I'm the Sole Presenter and Content Manager for YML.tv www.yourmusiclive.tv, a brand new online Video Music Channel, launching this month! Wooohoooo!! In 2007 I Scripted and Hosted the 6 Part Showcase series for Garageland (www.garageland.ie) in The Sugar club which were being filmed by liveinyourlivingroom (www.yourmusiclive.tv)I interviewed 40 bands during the series including Paranoid Visions, Ham Sandwich, Royseven, Shiversaint, Straglers etc etc!! I also Hosted the Sonikpollen Record Label Launch in Oct 2007 @ The Village! This year I Scripted and Hosted the Youth Work Ireland and Garageland '7 Steps Up' Music Awards @ The Sugar Club which was filmed by YML.tv and streamed live on the net, great craic, love live shows, adrenaline....... In March/April 2008 I Scripted and Hosted all 3 Regional Heats of the Bank Of Ireland, National Student Music Awards, www.nsma.ie which took place in Galway, Cork and Dublin, I also hosted the Final Which took place in The Village!! I started acting last year, purely by chance, I've been in six Irish shorts since last October and I have 4 more coming up from now until June, seven leads in total so I'm really chuffed with that! I'll post up some vids as soon as I get them! I got the lead in the latest Kit-Kat gig promo commercial which is still running, that was a great experience all together, I also featured in the Harp Lager Billboard campaign over xmas, lots of romantic gazing and rosy cheeks:) I presented 3 training DVD's for various companies in 2006 and early 2007 and shot a brochure for a Hotel Chain in the South of Ireland, my first shot at a bit of the auld modelling, yikes!! I was also featured in a music video for the band 'Allstarcharge' ha I always wanted to be the chick in the vid;)! I've just shot my final scenes in a 6-Part Comedy Series for RTE, which will be on the box this Autumn, lots of fun and games I play a narky lil dolly-bird, we'll see how that pans out!! Aside from all that madness I do a wee bit of make-up artistry and i've dabbled with the Band Management thang!! A lot of the footage from the various gigs and Award shows will be online to view when the new site launches, i will also be filming a weekly Music Programme, including gig footage and Interviews, Releases etc..... So that's me, when do I sleep I hear you ask? um...workin on it:)
