So you’ve probably read my bio above to find out who the “professional” Jacqui Ryan is. But, who is Jacqui Ryan personally?

Well, I am currently 24 years old.

I was born and bred in Queensland – Australia. The same place my parents and grandparents were born and raised. Even tho some people often question that because of my “look” or pronunciation of words.

I refer to a suitcase as a port – something that friends constantly pick me up on

My favourite animal is the tiger – probably because my childhood pet was a ginger and white cat. Who stayed with me until he passed away at age 17

You won’t find me shopping for specific labels. I strongly believe in dressing for comfort and will dress however I feel. (However, I do love my girl Kimi's label MADIX LIVE) You will usually also see me wearing thongs (or flip flops). I’m very casual

I laugh all the time! I have heard that a good belly laugh is the best form of stomach workout you can get. If this was true – I would have one of the tonest stomachs around – and I don’t :P

I don’t make decisions unless I really have too

I am stubborn and a hard worker

I believe there is nothing more powerful then the power of positive thinking and apply it to my everyday life

I am 5ft 6inches tall or approx 168cm if you prefer

I love jewellery and have far too much. My favourite store is DIVA – I also wear silver

I love reading crime novels and watching crime shows – but cannot watch horror movies. I’m too much of a scaredy cat

I am a tad paranoid and like things to be organised and controlled at all times

I have all the time in the world for people who are polite and have a nice nature

I think Keith Urban is the most fantastic musician Australia has ever exported

I like sequins and things that sparkle on stage

I love drinking coffee – Zarrafas coffee (a QLD franchise) is my favourite

Nothing makes me happier then being on stage in front of a great crowd

My favourite song is ‘One day like this’ by UK band Elbow

I love wholemeal original Sakata crackers with brie cheese

I only have a small group of close friends and they, along with my family mean the absolute world too me

I don’t fall in love easily, but when I do – I fall hard

I’m not the kind of girl who has to have a guy by her side. I’m comfortable in being single if I’m meant to be

I strongly believe all things happen for a reason

Onstage, I am outgoing and confident. Off stage, I am not a snob – I am reserved

I take people how I find them – not on the opinion of others

My favourite sitcoms are Friends and Will & Grace and I still watch the re-runs on Foxtel

I love holidays with my family

I cannot go a day without singing – something

I love to hear from my fans

I will never tire of people complimenting me on my music. This tells me that I have done my job as a singer/songwriter and performer. I’ve touched you

I like all different types of music

I like honesty and expect it always

I love taking pictures

I genuinely appreciate the love and support of my friends, family and fans. And thank everybody who has bought my EP, come along to a gig or supported me no matter what

I don’t believe there should only be one size accepted in film or music. It should be about the art not the look of the individual making it

Oh, and soon I will be famous! Trust me :-D
