It is better to regret something that you've done, than to regret something you didn't do. Likewise, it is better to beg forgiveness, than to ask permission.
There comes a time in everyone's life when they need to rebuild from the ground up, and start over. For me, I'm rebuilding myself. I hope that when I'm done, I will be the person I've always wanted to be, but haven't been able to be.
Music
I like almost everything, except for R&B and Country. Mostly I listen to Alternative, Rock, Metal, a little punk, some Japanese music, and just a random mix of stuff. A few groups from my iTunes that I have the most songs of: AFI, Apocalyptica, Breaking Benjamin, BUCK-TICK, Cake, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Distemper, Disturbed, Dropkick Murphys, Eminem, Eve 6, Everclear, Flogging Molly, Godsmack, Green Day, Johnny Cash (ok, so he's country, sue me), Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Manowar, Matchbox Twenty (I saw them in concert twice, too), Meatloaf, Metallica, Nickelback, The Offspring, Oingo Boingo, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Seether, Stabbing Westward, Stephen Lynch, Tenacious D, They Might Be Giants, Tristania, and finally Weezer. Whew, that was a lot, but fuck it. You get the idea.
Movies
My taste in movies is about as random and varied as my taste in music, but I rarely ever -buy- movies, so I don't exactly have a library to draw from to list off the good ones. But, I will say this: I love The Boondock Saints. That movie is freaking awesome, and if you haven't seen it, do so. Secondly, I also recommend seeing Equilibrium (especially if you like Christian Bale). Very kickass.
Television
I don't own a TV (I'm a college student, and poor, sue me. :-P), and have never really cared to watch much TV in the first place. It was all about the console gaming for me! I do love a lot of the comedy series that just about everyone has on their profiles: Seinfeld, South Park, Family Guy, etc. Now, that being said I love ANIME!! (In Japanese only, please. Subtitles are nice.) I'm not a huge Anime buff, cuz I haven't ever spent tons of time watching it, but I love to watch it, and wanna see some new stuff.
Books
Mostly, textbooks as of the late. But a few good books stand out from when I used to read for fun: The Chronicles of Amber (Roger Zelazny), The Dragonlance Series (Tracy Hickman & Margaret Weis), The Incarnations of Immortality (Piers Anthony), The Night Watch (Terry Pratchett), The Rigante Series (David Gemmell), and Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown) are good light reads. I recommend reading Plato's Republic as well.
Heroes
Heroes!! I completely forgot! Yeah, I love that TV show, even though I only get to watch it online, Heroes is a kickass show. Oh, right, real life heroes. Um... My dad is my number one hero, I respect and admire him more than anyone, really. Thanks for everything, dad.
