Jaded Silence Press is looking for a wide variety of authors to publish within their pages. If you're interested in getting published with us feel free to submit anything you like. We have several ongoing projects and there are anthologies and submissions for everyone to be able to join.
We are accepting stories, books, articles on writing, poetry and flash fiction as well. All of these are welcomed with any genre you choose.
Submissions:
Short stories: Short story submissions for ongoing anthologies can be 1000 – 10000 words in length. We are asking all of our submitting authors to make sure to edit and PROOFREAD their work. Despite that we will be going through and editing ourselves. We tend to be nit picky but it is needed in order to make a piece perfect for publication.
Novellas: We will be accepting novellas of lengths from 15000 – 40000 words in length, they can be about anything you want and again authors are expected to edit and proofread their work.
Flash Fiction: The allotted space for flash fiction pieces are from 1 – 1000 words. These will be used in different anthologies based on the content of the story. If they are romantic, they will go in one of the romance anthologies.
Books: Feel free to submit any FINISHED book to the press, however, we will make an exception if a novel is very near completion. We've already accepted novels that are in several different genres such as autobiography, horror, sci-fi and fantasy.
Cover Art: If you have cover art that you want to go with your book already, send that along with as well in jpeg format. So that we are able to upload it with the interior text of your novel. If you need cover art done, we do have a residential staff designer and artist that can work with you. Send us a complete and detailed description of what you want included on the cover and we will have one designed for you and you can approve or disapprove of it.
Copyright: Authors maintain all copyright information for their work. They are able to submit to other companies while awaiting for acceptance from Jaded Silence Press. However, if we do accept a story or book, we will hold the publishing rights of said work for one year.
Jaded Silence Press also has a horror magazine that will be accepting submissions soon. Artwork, stories, articles on writing, and movie reviews will just be some of the things that the magazine will be accepting submissions for.
