    What I currently love: The Weakerthans, Flyleaf, Sneaker Pimps, GreenDay, Offspring, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Joss Stone, Norah Jones, Ani DiFranco, Tori Amos, Panic! At the Disco, Stone Temple Pilots, Goo Goo Dolls, The Smiths, Switchfoot, Massive Attack, Vampire Weekend, Adele, Eels, They Might Be Giants, Andrew Bird, & Lacuna Coil... and many more.
    Favorite artist right now: Hmmm tough choice. I guess I'd have to say it's a tie between The Weakerthans and Andrew Bird.
    My oddest song?: "Roll On" by Thea Gilmore. I come across some of the most interesting songs by happenstance. I don't know if I was scanning for a different song on Playlist.com, or how the heck I came across it, but it's on my player now.
    In general: Anything from Metal to music I can mellow out to and all spots in between. I don't care for rap and music I can't figure out lyrics to. Celtic (Solas, Clanna...) , New Age, and Classical are all on the docket as well when I need to chill.

  • Movies

    What I currently love: Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Wizard of Oz, The Last Unicorn, Monty Python (any of the movies), Enter the Dragon, Clerks, Dogma.
    Favorite movie right now: I really don't have a new movie I'm head over heels for, but found myself curled up, watching Master and Commander. I think more for the music than anything else. I think Russell Crowe is boring and broodish. I'm sure they could have found a better captain. But I was watching that when I wasn't feeling well, so... you figure out the reason I watched it.
    My oddest movie?: Bruce Lee flicks. My uncle was in one of the last Bruce Lee movies when he was stationed over seas. He was one of the "evil minions" so you can't see his face. But after years of family reunions watching the movie, I can safely say, I know which one he is.
    In general: Mythical/Science Fiction, old Japanese movies (and more recent Japanese comedies like Shaolin Soccer) & Comedies but I haven't been watching movies much lately.

  • Television

    What I currently love: American Idol. Yes, yes... American Idol. I'm in it for Allison Iraheta.
    Favorite show right now: "House" I love this show! Hugh Laurie Rocks!
    My oddest show?: Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations. I like how blunt and truthful he is about everything from vendor sausages to 5-Star Elf Food.
    In general: I like watching cooking shows and cartoon network. I don't watch a load of TV. Oh, and if someone pulls out the MST3K, I'm all over that!

  • Books

    What I currently love:Hans Christian Andersen: The Nightingale. More of a short story, but I'm working on an art piece that incorporates a scene from the story.
    What am I reading now: "The Eyes of the Dragon" by Stephen King
    My oddest book?: "Gargantua and Pantagruel" (if you are into 15th century French monk writers... who happen to be incredibly perverse and gay) It's actually a good book... in doses.
    In general: Mythical/Science Fiction novels, mainly although I'm a huge fan of classic short stories and novels.
