About me:
...Fuck, where do I start?
Well, I was born in London, bred in Perth, Western Australia and reside in Melbourne. I'm a drummer... It's the only thing i want to do... Since about the age of 6, or so, I've been fascinated with drums and have been clicking drumbeats with my teeth (or fingers, toes, etc) to this day... I fell in love with music at that age, basically 70's radio rock to start with, The Beatles (the masters of songwriting!), Stones, Elton John, The Eagles, AC-DC to name a few, and moved onto heavier stuff like Metallica, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin , Black Sabbath and anything else that was as good as that! Since then I've fallen in love with bands like QOTSA, Radiohead, Oasis, TOOL, Rage Against The Machine, Shihad, Powderfinger, Porcupine Tree, to name but a few ..I've played many hundreds of gigs, probably no less than 650+ (the first 500 gigs were at least 3 to 4 hour gigs, playing up to 50/55 songs a night!), mostly in perth, in front of crowds ranging from 20 people to 6000+ people, where I was a professional drummer for most of the 90's, earning a good living from playing. I've easily spent more than 2000 hours onstage in Australia and overseas.. I love playing live in front of an audience and when you see me playing drums live, that'll be obvious..
