What do we want to accomplish? We want to create music the purist form possible and make it listenable to the ears of others....the websters dictionary says that band is a group that ties together for the same purpose... JAF is a unique band because it consists of only two people....but two people bringing forth the sound as if it were 5 or more....and these two members are...Joseph Anthony, who originally started the band in 2002 with just himself and a little casio cheap keyboard.....and Rico Rodriguez....who joined JAF in the late summer of 2004....
every song JAF writes...comes from what is inside the heart, that's what music should be anyways right....it should captivate the very attitude of the heart and portray threw musical notes and sounds what the composer is feeling at that exact moment! and If you listen very carefully to JAF's songs.....to each individual track you can definitely see what each track is portraying and what was in the composers heart as he wrote it!!! some of it is sadness, happiness, anger, betrayal, maturity, and longing!!! The Vocal part of JAF has to do with everyday easy to understand lyrics,....sometimes telling a story...or sometimes just pure imaginatory thoughts. but each melody flows with the music and before long if your not careful, you will find yourself singing the songs in your head! We want every kind of genre to give JAF a listen and to go see a live show....where JAF puts on a relatively great stage presence.... you'll soon find yourself dancing with the crowd, Hardcore dancing, and singing along to somethin that is very personal to us!!!!
