About me:
Hey All, just let you know I'm not a big MYSPACE user these days, I still use it just not as often as I do FACEBOOK. So umm feel free to join me there!
UPDATE; recently left Sydney and been traveling Australia for last few months and have just arrived back in Perth, looking for a new job now and will update this About me bit once I have more to say!!
Grew up in and around Western Australia in places like Perenjori and Mundaring and still very much a country boy at heart but after living in Toronto, (Canada) and currently Sydney, I'm becoming more used to the city lifestyle. Currently running a Backpackers called The Globe Backpackers located in the heart of Kings Cross where my life has become a little more nuts with all the crazyness that is the Cross.
I love AFL footy and Aussie Basketball and am a big fan of the West Coast Eagles in the footy and the Perth Wildcats in the Basketball. One of my best days ever was being at the recent 2006 AFL Grand Final where I got to watch the West win the Flag!!!
I enjoy most types of music but really love a bit of Aussie Rock and am I huge Silverchair fan, their music has been a big part of my live and has helped me through so much over the years. Recently been enjoying so of the music coming from back home in Perth like Eskmo Joe, End of Fashion, Little Birdy & John Butter Trio.
I like to think of myself as a bit of a handyman and I really enjoy building solid timber furniture. I did do some time as a Cabinetmaker and with a number of trademan in the family have grown up as a DIY'er and always injoyed working with my hands. Used to spend a lot of my spare time doing maintance around the Globe which I enjoyed till the new boss turned up!
Love to travel, experence different places and meet new people. Spend my childhood seeing WA plus a bit of Oz and since have been around the USA, Singapore, spend a year in Canada and more recently Japan which I'm a huge fan off. Still hope to see much more of mother Earth over the coming years. I've never been the type of person to stay around anywhere for to long! Although I've now been stuck in the Sydney for a while....
