About me:
The Common Room Bar & Lounge opened Friday 1st April 2005, situated on lower scotch street it's Dungannon's No1 Live Music Bar! With the launch of this website comes the launch of the new addition to The Common Room which is Jagger's.
Jagger's Common Room is for those who appreciate good music. Music written by some of the greastest artists, performed live by some of the most talented musicians in the country.
At Jagger's Common Room your guaranteed every Friday and Saturday night to see full live bands ranging from 3-5 pieces, performing covers and original music.
The bar boasts an in-house PA System which is readily available for bands to use and provide a quality sound to all who use it. Throughout the years Bands from all over Northern and Southern Ireland, have travelled to play in Dungannon's only bar completely dedicated to live music. The bar specialises in ‘Rock ‘n’ Blues’ but has also welcomed other genres including, Ska, Punk, Indie, Alternative and Acoustic. Many big name bands have played at Jagger's Common Room from local and surrounding areas, bands including: A Little Bitter, Alibi, which formerly included Keith Semple of ex band ‘One True Voice’, The Roy Fulton Band, But Seriously, The Rubber plants and Doghouse. Jagger's Common Room is always looking for up and coming talent to promote in the bar. Sundays consist of Sundays Unplugged, an open mic acoustic night where singers, songwriters, poets and musicians are all welcome to perform!
Owner Mark aspires to bring the live music scene back to a long awaited Dungannon town. The Common Room also hosts many other events including charity and fundraising events, and has an upstairs lounge which is available for private functions, birthdays, anniversaries, christenings etc. For details on all up and comings events log on and post any queries on our contact section.
