Before long we were out in Spain, playing for our digs...thats no lie.
The kids went mad out there, each southern town invited us to play in their disused cinemas, it ended in mass brawls between the locals and the boys in blue.
We left, leaving the bar bills and our guitars behind.
It wasn't long before we found ourselves in Amsterdam. New guitars and new songs. In Frans Hendriks front room with a 2 inch tape machine, It was loud and smokey but we pulled through and managed to smuggle 4 hefty tracks back through her majestys customs.
Once home we managed to release Lover in Handcuffs as a download only single to test the water.
It received plenty of airplay and became a favourite of the 'Kinky Indie Posse', Winning Radio One's Fresh Meat 'Great track, Great band, reminds me of early Supergrass, Whacky!' - Zane Lowe. It was also added to the Xfm evening playlist and received a number of reviews in various publications 'Catchy indie rock that bounces along like the early nineties with grittier guitars that boasts a sexy Britpop swagger and oozes energy.
