Inovador, JAHcareggae une tradição e modernidade a elementos naturais e digitais em um som definitivamente novo. Resgatando as raízes e a busca espiritual através das palavras da Bíblia e do aprendizado universal, seguem agradecendo e exaltando o amor e a paz ao som do REGGAE ROOTS, influenciados principalmente pelo DUB, o NYABINGHI, SKA, ROCKERS, ROCK STEADY, R&B, NEW AGE, e tendências atuais como NEW ROOTS, DANCEHALL, RAP, RAGGA e BLACK MUSIC. Hábeis e versáteis, confeccionam seus próprios figurinos e cenário, usando elementos naturais e sintéticos combinados em decoração exclusiva de palco.
Juntos há 12 anos, realizaram mais de 600 shows e participaram de festivais de grande importância, tocando para públicos de até 80.000 pessoas, nas cidades de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Goiânia e Vitória. Fundaram o instituto “Raízes e Culturas” (organização social e cultural do grupo) com o objetivo de propagar a cultura Reggae no Brasil, ensinando instrumentos musicais e realizando oficinas de nyabinghi, elaborando e promovendo projetos ecológicos, realizando apresentações em várias praias do Brasil: Litorais de Santa Catarina, sul e norte de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro e Região dos lagos, Bahia, Espírito Santo, nas reservas naturais da Mata Atlântica do ES e RJ e no cerrado da Chapada dos Veadeiros e Pirenópolis (GO). Com a preocupação maior de preservação ambiental e a consciência ecológica. Essas participações e outros shows inesquecíveis conquistaram o respeito do público, resultando na venda de mais de 20.000 cópias de seus 3 CDs independentes em todo Brasil, na participação em 4 coletâneas de reggae nacional, distribuídas em todo o País; além da revista EXODO do México. Como a internet hoje é uma realidade, não podemos esquecer de milhares de downloads de músicas em formato MP3, disponível em nossa HOMEPAGE, no My Space e em outros sites.
Sua formação se destaca pela habilidade de seus integrantes em trocar instrumentos: os irmãos RASTAEL e JAHBRIEL, e BRUNNO Silva mudam de instrumento de música para música, causando surpresa em quem vê, variando em pegada e estilo no contrabaixo, bateria, guitarra e vocais. Outro diferencial é o fato de a banda ser uma família musical: Vera “LUZ”, mãe de Rastael e Jahbriel, acompanha o grupo desde sua formação; o irmão de Brunno, Vinícius DA LUA, considerado um dos grandes percussionistas de Reggae no Brasil e outros dois talentosos músicos ainda integram essa família: o tecladista Rafael “ROD” e o guitarrista Eduardo “BENJAHMIN”, que atualmente faz intercambio com com grandes músicos americanos e jamaicanos na cidade MIAMI (USA). O resultado dessa fusão é a expressão pura desse grupo-família com grandes afinidades em comum, um estilo próprio, aberto a variações artísticas de todos os componentes.
Atualmente o grupo JAHCAREGGAE é um dos grupos musicais mais respeitados do Reggae Nacional; as músicas VIBES A RASTA e PRIMEIRA PEDRA são sucessos nacionais e tocam nas melhores rádios de reggae do país, elogiadas pelos ouvintes e locutores. O álbum “COM VIVÊNCIA”, lançado em 2008 pela gravadora K-ROOTZ, veio pra carimbar definitivamente o grupo como uma das mais influentes bandas no Brasil, reconhecidos internacionalmente pela qualidade de produção do novo cd.

Combining together tradition and newness, organic and digital elements, all in a totally new sound. Musicians living and working together for the purpose of roots rescue, and spiritual search trough the words of JAH with the universal learning. Uplifting and exalting love and peace to the sound of REGGAE ROOTS, mainly influenced by DUB, NYABINGHI, SKA, ROCKERS, ROCK STEADY, RYTHIM&BLUES, NEW AGE, and also the modern trends like DANCEHALL, RAP AND BLACK MUSIC. Toguether for more than ten years, they are currently living in São Paulo, playing reggae all over Brazil. These participations and many other unforgettable presentations have achieved the audience..s respect, giving the result of more than 20.000 copies of independent cd..s sold, all over the country, and also the participation in 4 national reggae collections, distributed nationwide. Their Line up stands out for the versatility of it..s components when it comes to change instruments:the brothers RASTAEL and JAHBRIEL, and Brunno ZACADREAD exchange instruments from song to song, variating the style. Another differential of the group is the fact that the band is a musical family: Vera LUZ, Rastael..s and Jahbriel..s mother, takes part in the group since it..s foundation. Other three revelations are the new members of this family: Leandro KB – LA, Rafael ROD, and Eduardo RASGEL. The result of this fusion is the pure expression of this Family-group wich has many things in common, a unique style, and at the same time open to the artistic innovation of all components.
Currently, JAHcareggae comes out as one of the greatest names in the national reggae scene: the songs Vibes a Rasta and Primeira Pedra are being played in the best brazilian reggae radios, Being always complemented and noticed by the radio..s listeners and announcers. The “AO VIVO” album, recorded live in 2005, has already reached the mark of more than 11.500 copies sold so far, and the new with the most recent songs, named “Com Vivencia” released in 2008, by the record label K – Rootz, from São Paulo.
