With roots coming thru Peru, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Jamaica, and North Carolina, the Jah Casa Mission has combined with the good vibes of Mendocino to create a unique and original Reggae sound, with the lyrical Revelation of Rastafari as its focus and Inspiration.
Veteran singer/songwriter Gary Traywick brings years of experience to the musical table, with original songs, such as, “Mystic Mysteries”, “Babylon Breakdown”, “Morenita”, and many others. Besides singing in Spanish and English, G.T. is quite fluent on the guitar and keyboards.
The Jah Casa Riddim section consists of Mendocino’s own Drum and Bass Duo, Bret Nelson and Brady Bartolomei. These brothers grew together in the smoky hills of Ukiah playing jazz and blues, a great beginning for their Reggae passion. They provide a solid support for the melodies and lyrics of Jah Casa, and are sure to make you move yer dancin’ feet.
