GOTHAMIST interview with JahFurry

JahFurry on FACEBOOK

new JahFurry tune on WARREN ELLIS' 4AM Podcast:

WARREN ELLIS says "'Pray For Me My Prey' is just fucking peculiar, as I’ve come to expect from anything involving JahFurry, New York City’s favourite freakscene facilitator."
(track must be listened to as part of the mixtape, second tune, but the whole thing is badass and so is the rest of the series.)

SHOOTING WAR: This November marked the U.S. & UK launch of the graphic novel Shooting War by Anthony Lappe & Dan Goldman. Originally serialized on SMITH magazine, it's now an expanded (by 110pages), remastered fullcolor hardcover from Grand Central Publishing.

Lappe on JahFurry from Newsarama: "Like so many great projects, the genesis for the Shooting War graphic novel came about at a bar; I was telling my friend Jeff Newelt, aka JahFurry - reggae singer, comics-head, and PR pro, about the idea over drinks one night and he said, Screw film, make a graphic novel...NOW....."

Josh Neufeld's A.D.: NEW ORLEANS AFTER THE DELUGE: When the levees broke, nothing was the same for New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. A.D. is about surviving Hurricane Katrina — and what happened next in the lives of a cross-section of Crescent City residents. A.D. is a free serialized webcomic presented by SMITH Magazine:
