The Jamaican singer and songwriter Jah Ghatti born as Delmar Orlando Valentine in a volatile community in Kingston called Grantspen. While growing up amongst great musicians, like Bunny Wailer, Dennis “Jah-D” Fearon and Luciano, he quickly got aware of the things around him. In these early years he discovered his passion for music and started going to stage shows and parties just to feel the vibes of the music and to see the reaction of the audience. His musical career started at the age of 12 when he wrote his first song titled “Fredrika”. Soon he got introduced to Caveman Soundsystem on Grove Road in Kingston where he spent a lot of time listening and learning. His first official recorded song “Jailhouse” was done at Builders Music Studio by Jah-D’s son Diavallon Fearon. He recorded several more songs with Builders Music before he left for his first tour in Europe. .... Today Jah Ghatti is known as a versatile artist with a pure voice and energy driven stage performances captivating the hearts and minds of the young audience all over the world. His touring across the international stages led him to perform with acts like Tony Rebel, Nesbeth, Turbulance, Natty King, Daddy Rings and Warrior King as well as Ganjaman, Yah Meek, Bobo Niyah and many more. .... Right now Jah Ghatti is working on his new album entitled “Who I’ve become” which will be released in spring of 2010.
