Bio:

Greetings to one and all in the mighty and powerful name of H.I.M Emperor Haile Selassie I Jah Rastafari. Born De-Ale-Jo Roberts the artist now known as Jah Medi brings you into that mystical mist that leaves you feeling as if you’re drifting within one time of one universe, while in reality we’re on one path of becoming one conscious righteousness. The land of the Sun, Sand and Sea that’s rich in culture, historical land marks and now fine Bahamian cuisine have produced a rare but precious gem to parents Denzil & Petrol Roberts on March 3rd in a small settlement on the eastern end of Island Grand Bahama, Bahamas. As a child growing up, it was only natural that Jah Medi was destined for greatness as he achieved great and even greater heights in the sport of Track and Field from his early years of attending Walter Parker Primary School, then later St. George’s High School and then to Aquinas College (Michigan). Jah Medi now introduces another side, bringing to you his listeners, Roots and Culture with a very diverse background as he harmonizes and soothes the souls of those longing for upliftment. Jah Medi’s introduction into the music industry first began late 2008 with the release of his first reggae single which was touched with a little hip hop flavor entitled ‘Dey Don’t Know’, produced by DJ Iceman. This single later went on to receive well rotations throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Sections of Europe that later forward Jah Medi to make connections with DJ Stunna whom is the producer and owner of Must Rich Records in Montego Bay, JA. Through this positive link Jah Medi is now in the process of completing his debut album and has already released his first single self titled ‘Live and Love Your Life’ in early 2009 which later followed mid year by the video that debuted in Portugal, Spain.
