I come from a world where the murals of the dead adorn all of your senses and a leisurely drive to the corner bodega is a daily reminder of our mortality. Most days I feel numb from the losses. Even the fresh scent of beautiful cut flowers is no longer welcoming; just a symbol of darkness. There are always those random days. Days when instinctively we are reminded that we are still human and that our disposition , even if it's dug deep in our souls; is to live in peace and to love. Today, my friend Mr. Probz (the singer in this video) was shot. I don't know the exact details since all of the calls I've received have been vague. Today started off a good day. Now I write all of you to ask for your prayers as the numbness begins to set in once again. God Bless you my nigga. I pray you make it through OK. Your Brother from Camden, Big Lou
