Selecta Jah Vibration iniciou a sua carreira no mundo da música reggae no ano de 2002, começando a actuar por diversas vezes em vários Clubs da cidade do porto, incluindo o Espaço Cultural Contagiarte. Rapidamente recebeu a bênção musical de Jah e ganhou um extremo amor por toda esta cultura. Em 2003 formou a webmagazine Portaldoreggae.com e começou a trabalhar arduamente com o reggae e a sua cultura, aprendendo a venerar o reggae e a respeitar os seus ideais. Com o passar do tempo foram criados fortes laços de amizade com diversos artistas internacionais, entre os quais Eek-A-Mouse, Sister Nancy, Ijahman, Morgan Heritage Family, General Levy, Fitta Warri, Chuck Fenda, Tawanda (Misty In Roots), Jubba, Sojah, entre muitos outros. Todos estes artistas vieram transmitir uma enorme força para a continuação de todos os projectos musicais… Em 2005, Selecta Jah Vibration junta-se a Xibata e Clandestino e forma um dos mais fortes soundsystems da altura, o Portaldoreggae Soundsystem. Juntos actuaram por todo o país, transmitindo as vibrações positivas do reggae. Hoje em dia, Jah Vibration faz actuações sozinho ou também com soundsystem, a sua mensagem é espalhar a mensagem positiva, o seus sets musicais contêm uma imensa cultura e são sempre conscientes, as suas performances são fortes e alegres, o objectivo é passar a mensagem de Paz e União!
