A vagabond by nature, Jai spent many of his teen years backpacking the countryside...from Florida, to Connecticut, to California, to Canada...ocean to ocean, border to border... and all points betwixt & between. Diverse climates, land/seascapes, cultures, philosophies, and attitudes helped Jai learn to appreciate and cultivate his natural ability to co-exist and co-create with those from many walks of life...vital lessons learned and passed to his own brilliant and beautiful children... Dustin 23, and Carly 21, who are the inspiration of much of his lyrical content.
His CD's, Back to My Self, Travel and Transformation, and Agape' Project contain a wide variety of musical syles and vibrations... Americana, ethereal, ambient, trance, Native American, progressive folk, folk ballads, and contemporary fusion culminate to draw the listener into spaces of release, abundance, gratitude, and inspiration. Jai's music has won several awards, including Songwriter's Showcases of America Creative Writer of the Year; Most Emotional Song, as well as many International Songwriter's Guild achivement awards.
Jai has provided musical performance and inspiration for several retreats and workshops including James Redfield's opening of Celestine Prophecy~The Movie, Carolyn Howe's "Acceptance, The Key To Transformation", and has for the last several years traveled to various Unity, Unitarian, and Science of Mind churches throughout the Southeast with songs and stories of spirit, experience, courage, faith, and inspiration.
Jai's musical style has been defined as "resonant, sonorous, radiant, mesmerizing, and captivating"; "Jai's messages run pure and deep...compelling & powerful"; "Jai does what he loves, but for him it's not about what he's doing...it's about who he's being"
Danke, Gracias, Merci, Grazi', and Thanks for the add. The songs I write are a reflection of my life. The lyrics, like an unveiled biography. My inspiration comes from my children, mi familia, and the women I have loved. I give them and everyone who inspires me, my heart...Sign the guest book if you get a chance. Peace n Love, Miguel
