Jakarta Skyscraper was formed by Denise Bonis and Eric Forst in March of 2003. Denise is a New Orleans-based singer/songwriter. Her first record was produced by Lisa Germano and Denise supported Lisa on her Lullaby for Liquid Pig tour in 2003. A recent record, Imperfect Authentic Cadence is available from Setting Records. Denise currently plays with Chappy in New Orleans. On Jakarta Skyscraper, Denise sings and plays guitar, violin and keyboards. Eric Forst is a Los Angeles-based Virginia native who played in The Frogs, Frances Gumm, and Menthol Hill.
