I always wanted to be a rock star but I am a very average (or below) guitar player ... and radio is where all frustrated musicians end up so here I am! lol. I go to Jazzfest in N.O. every year and love the music you find without some record company telling me what to listen to.

Check out the story at www.dougstephan.com where the guitar Jimi lit his guitar on fire is up for auction! If that gets you in the mood and you want to burn your own guitar after playing some hendrix here is your first lesson!
Movies
All John Hughes films (He did a great job of capturing us in our teens and twenties in the 80's) .. anything (non chick flickish) with John Cusack, Sean Connery, Bruce Willis and Gene Hackman. All Mel Brooks movies and almost anything with Bill Murray. Caddyshack, Ferris Bueller and The Blues Brothers. So ... explosions and laughs are the key.
About me: Just your average guy ... I play with the kids, mow the lawn, drink a beer and talk to a few million friends on the radio. Stop in and join us!

Get More at COMMENTYOU. com I hope your Memorial Day was awesome! and thought filled! I think this Memorial Day touched me more than any other, having known people that fought in Iraq! Some came back, one did not! I am thankful, more than words can say, to them this Memorial Day weekend!
This probably would have been better suited for Ken's page..but I couldn't waste it and thought you'd get a kick out of it! I did! Thanks for the radio show..I mean, Doug's radio show! I'm super psyched that I have Doug, Jennifer, Ken and you! Now, where's Roberta?? I'm waiting..lol
Wendy ... it was cool! The only difference between now and when we were 19 is we have wives instead of girlfriends, we talk about our bills, kids and health issues instead of cars, girls and music and we need to take a line of credit out on the house to buy cars we used to pay for with a part time job! Crazy ain't it!
This is the 3-holer drawing I made to go with Doug's very informative discussion on outhouses. I am certain there are no other radio programs with this kind of information! It reminds me of a quote - "You don't know where you are going unless you remember where you've gone."
