Long Island, N.Y., native Jake Incao, says, "As long as there is life, you can write." With an arsenal of close to 200 songs written, they’ll be no shortage of music in his life. Influenced by such acts as Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews Band, Van Morrison and Elvis Presley, Incao first picked up the guitar at age 15. After discovering he had a knack for songwriting, he took his voice and songs to coffeehouses and open mics all over Long Island.
Incao’s, 2004 release of Get What You Came For, is still giving back to him. SONY BMG has hit up Jake to license two of his songs off the EP. In October of 2006, "Dizzy" was used on a compilation which included artist like Sarah McLachlain, Howie Day, Jeff Buckely and Ray Lamontagne. The album is entitled, Acoustic Mood and is in Target stores all over the country. And, just recently released in December of 2007 was "Well Done". Another SONY BMG compilation where Incao’s, "My Sweet Sweet Summer" was used on the album, along with songs from Earth Wind and Fire, Alice Cooper, The Verve Pipe, Eagle Eye Cherry and more.
Following the success of cd sales and positive support from the press, Incao landed solo acoustic supporting slots for Edwin McCain, Brian Vander Ark of The Verve, ex-Mott the Hoople singer, Ian Hunter, and ex-Soul Coughing singer, Mike Doughty, at Long Island’s The Downtown, along with a supporting slot for Huey Lewis & The News and Kenny Loggins at Westbury Music Fair, and Boz Scaggs at The Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. Jake Incao Band has opened for Gin Blossoms at Mulcahys in Long Island and Foghat, Ian Hunter of Mott The Hoople and Dave Mason of Traffic at The Downtown.
As the hard working Incao continues to develop, he continues to write song after song after song and utilize his insatiable drive to fulfill his vision of success.

Please know your band truly captures the spirit of the Local Long Island Music Scene and what Jammin’ For The Kids is all about – I could not continue this event year after year, if it wasn’t for you standing behind me and Toys of Hope. THIS EVENT WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE ABOUT QUALITY AND NOT ABOUT VENUE QUANITY OF CROWD DRAW. Although your fan base always mangers to come through at all times and that alone rocks!!!
The sole purpose towards this event is to unite the Local Long Island Music scene to Jam for the those kids in need here on Long Island. YOUR PARTICAPTION on this event was NOT ONLY respected but valued across the board. DJ Riders alone was able to help over 500 families here on Long Island and that was solely because of your support!! So Once again, Thank you!!
Please always remember, music is what heals the soul and guides us through those hard times! So please always stay true to your passion and roots and never lose faith in why you bring a smile to ones face when you play.
