Jake started playing guitar in 2002 at age 21 and started singing shortly after. Within a year had first performances in Pacific Northwest coffee shops and bars around Port Angeles, Kingston, Edmonds. He provides a solo act and entertains the crowd on a personal level. A couple of years later he started experimenting with a collection of pedals that loop vocals and guitar creating a large sound for just one guy allowing venues in a variety of atmospheres. Colleges, Restaunts, Bars, and Outside venues take the list. While a debut album is in the works live show recordings can be requested through the website or Myspace, but the albums release date is not yet set. Some songs are being recorded with other instruments besides the 12 String Takamine that is usually heard. Drums, piano and bass join in for a couple of tracks while some of the others are more personal with a singer-songwriter feel meant to capture the live show. "When people hear this cd, I want them to hear the same sound as when I play live. Trying to get the energy of the live performance on to a track seems to be something lost in music production these days. I want to bring that back."
