I am from a hidden utopia located in the heart of Texas. A city so dense with liberal politics, that I refer to it as the hippy man land. I swear there is so much weed being smoked at one time in Austin that there is a traceable amount of THC in the city air. Our slogan here is “Keep Austin Weird” and for diversity a city couldn’t have a better catch phrase. Capitol city, ATX, 512, whatever you want to call it, Austin Tx is what I will rep till death.
I have had some local guest appearances from artists such as Phranchyze, Lord Ronin, Stehanie Salvo, Polar Bear, Rzo, Geeweezy and many more on my Swisstape vol.1 mixtape and upcoming album Tri-Polar. However on my upcoming project with my group “The Kind Budz” Rasheed from Dope House/Deep entertainment and Devin the Dude are featured on the upcoming album entitled “Keep Austin Green”
I have been rapping for a minute now. Twelve years to be exact, more than a fuckin decade. My first time to step foot in a real studio was Fall 2002, my Junior year in high school. There I recorded a number of now lost tracks with Phranchyze and N.I.P, The title of our first track ever was Horrible and it debut in the top 100 on mp3.com also was posted on the Insane clown posse’s main webpage due to a freestyle me and phranchyze kicked on stage before a Twiztid show at a club called Steamboat. Phranchyze and I proceeded to gain attention by live shows. In fact our first one we brought guerilla maab down to Victory Grill in October 2003 (during our Senior year in high school). Since then I’ve kept busy with numerous projects such as Shadowshyne ATX-Men, Flowmasters vol. 1, Gamebred- Last Days of Mercy, Swisstape vol. 1, be on the look out for my solo project entitled Tri-Polar and my group project The Kind Budz
The thing that separates me from your every day mc is the fact that I speak of prophecy and truth. The purpose of me rapping is to educate and inform the masses about whats to come. Although in order for you to attain the attention of the people entertainment needs to be incorporated with the music. I have my hands in many different projects all in which sound completely different from one another. I feel that I am so diverse that it has separated me into three different personalities. That is why my first solo album is entitled Tri-Polar. I have three different personas… Jakk Swiss, Jakk Jonez and K-Jakk each individual character brings a different element to the table which keeps my options open for future projects, I won’t be backed in a corner stuck producing one sound, instead I bring many different styles.
My album Tri-Polar is my bread and butter, the cash crop, the bees knees. This is my heart and soul. ,I always think outside of the box when it comes to shit and I feel that life as we know it is completely misinterpreted which makes us all live for the wrong reason. I express my political and religious views while also bringin in some braggadocio type swagger simply because no matter what I’m hip hop and with that being said I stay fly and make sure you know it. Lastly I bring my tenderness in for the love felt side of life.. Basically my album has something for everybody, guaranteed.
