Every so often someone releases an album that you can put in your car stereo and easily listen to over and over again from one day to the next. Electric Revolution by Jak Paris is one of those albums. Beautifully produced and mastered, the strong musicality and songwriting shine from track to track. Electric Revolution opens with "Overrated," an upbeat tune that would be perfect for blasting at any summer party. Each tune is driven by some of the best guitar riffs and fills, especially such powerful songs as "Happy Now?" and "Alone," but one of the best parts of this album is the versatility. Interspersed throughout this 10-track powerhouse are plenty of surprises, for example, the well-crafted ballads "Seasons Change" and "The Un-Finished Song" and techno-rock-based "Losing Faith."
It is safe to say that Jak Paris knows his stuff and shows it in the originality of every track. Electric Revolution is full of great vocals, thoughtful lyrics, tasty guitar playing and everything else that makes for a strong rock album. The only thing I wish was that some of the songs were longer. I wanted to hear more!

Since the March 28th 2006 release date of Electric Revolution, lead vocalist/guitarist JAK PARIS has found himself in the spotlight receiving national media attention, such as Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and more. Their first video was recently added to MTV2s Hot Tracks On Demand, and NEV Records is releasing THE CHAIN (single) worldwide to Hot AC, Modern Rock radio stations, AAA, and college radio.
Lead vocalist/guitarist JAK PARIS is the force behind the music. JAK PARIS recently teamed up with Actress Scarlett Pomers from the hit TV show REBA to record a cover version of the Fleetwood Mac mega hit The Chain to raise money for charity. The recent admission from Pomers of her battle with an eating disorder encouraged Paris to support her recovery through music, and the two are releasing this remake in Modern-Pop- Rock fashion on Electric Revolution JULY 11th, 2006.
