Who I'd like to meet:

We would like to meet you all and wish everyone a very peaceful and prosperous future.........

What a remarkable year 2006 has turned out to be, we would like to share it with you all!! This is perhaps the most significant and pivotal year so far in ICEA's collective 20 year evolution of 'ICEAlity' on this beautiful planet we call home. From our vantage point, we can easily see how much change is currently underway in every corner of the globe that signifies this wondrous transformation unfolding in the hearts of everyone. Remember: what begins in our heart and soul manifests in our outer experience of Being.

One by one and after many eons of allowing the illusion of separation to influence us, we are quickly recalling and embracing the oneness of humanity. Whether through our recognition of our interdependent relationship with the environment, the necessity of honest, visionary leadership in business and government, acknowledging the needs of our neighbors in distant lands, or just simply accepting our individual selves without limitation or condition, we are finally standing in our truth and light.

This is all happening by your personal efforts to change and evolve your thoughts and feelings. This change is not one of outer effort, instead it is the constant recognition and release of outdated and limiting beliefs that no longer serve. By acknowledging and letting go of the old worn out journeys of yesterday, each of us is creating a new ICEAlity based on peace. This release is commonly known as forgiveness and together we are manifesting it as a new paradigm and opportunity to live in harmony as we prepare to celebrate twenty years of international community service.

Such a simple action with such profound results. Isn't this what our various collective seasonal holidays are designed to represent? The many humble teachers that came to prompt us with this simple message of peace and goodwill toward mankind had no other desire than to remind us of our natural birthright.

Ironically, when we remember that peace is the answer, we forget there ever was a question. Unconditional love is that way, it knows no duality and therefore, creates no problems. Living daily with a focus on a loving peace, any limiting illusions naturally begin to dissolve before us and reveal the appropriate solutions in their place.

When you celebrate in your special way this Easter Season and observe the traditions of your culture or spiritual pathways for Mothers Day, experience it through the wisdom of your heart and notice what has always been there awaiting your acknowledgement. You will then realize that every moment is a holiday and a season that lasts a lifetime.

In those coming moments where it may be more challenging to see this potential, simply pause and take a deep breath. Your true wisdom will instantly return and you will become a beacon of this light for others to turn to.

Be at peace and you will know peace and share it with the world. From all of us here at ICEA, we wish you and your loved ones a wondrous spectacular Year!!

The Worlds Children Peace Monument (WCPM) is located at Coe Lake Park in Berea, Ohio. It was designed and built by David Jakupca as a project of the International Center for Environmental Arts (ICEA) in cooperation with the United Nations Culture of Peace Program. As new WCPM Stones are added to gardens around the world, it will, in time, become the largest monument dedicated to Global Peace. The WCPM embodies the ICEAlity of the Environmental Art Movement indigenous to the Greater Cleveland Area, that is to "Assist in understanding of the relationship between Humans and their Environment through the Arts". The WCPM was inaugurated in 2003 at the 3rd World Peace Conference held in Verbania, Italy by American Cultural Ambassadors David and Renate Jakupca where they received an Italian Medal of Arts. They were also recognized by the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and in 2006 appointed Universal Peace Ambassadors.

This unique gift comes in a crystal and pewter bottle! Along with a piece of the Mother Stone, a photo of the WCPM and its own funnel for refills all safely fit in a black velvet and satin box! For a donation of $60.00 it can be shipped anywhere in the World. All proceeds go towards the Worlds Children Peace Movement. Order directly from here using PayPal or send check or money order to:

Ever heard a single violinist sound like 12?

Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be one of the best songs I've written so far. Tthe chorus was scored for an entire violin section, however, in studio, I had one violinist, Jan "Yes I Can" Sullins. I asked her to single handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section. This is almost like telling someone, "Please jump rope one handed 10 times while monkeys nip at your feet."

Lucky for me, Jan worked some magic and now you can hear it on track 1 in my music player. It's called "Always" and is from my upcoming album, "Awakening," to be released June 16th.

Thanks and have fun!

I hope you have a very relaxing and enjoying Labor Day.
Photobucket

Labor Day, is a legal holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September in the United States, Puerto Rico, the Canal Zone, and the Virgin Islands. The celebration of Labor Day, in honor of the working class, it was first suggested by Peter J. McGuire, founder of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. It was initiated in the U.S. in 1882 by the Knights of Labor, who held a large parade in New York City. In 1884 the group held a parade on the first Monday of September and passed a resolution to hold all future parades on that day and to designate the day as Labor Day. In March 1887, the first state law to declare the day a legal holiday was passed in Colorado, followed by New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. In 1894 the U.S. Congress made the day a legal holiday. Parades, and speeches by labor leaders and political figures, mark Labor Day celebrations. Labor Day is celebrated in Canada on the first Monday in September. The first parades and rallies to honor workers were held in 1872 in Ottawa and Toronto, and the September date was officially recognized by Parliament in 1894.

Always from the heart, Annette

goodmorning
Photobucket
Take this beautiful day and make it to a memory.
Time

Time, time, time,
Make time, give time, and take time out
Win time, cost time, the time of your life
Spend time; sell time, the good times and the bad
Kill time, zero time, all the time in the world
Time watch, time travel, time to begin
Time table, time square, can I fit you in
Time frame, time to go, time that you grew up,
But tell me...
How do you feel?

Always running with time, Annette

Devotional thought on ACCEPTING OTHERS

I’m sure everybody has treated someone unfairly at one time or another. I did, I have to admit it. And most of us can be kind of shallow and sometimes judge people by how they look or speak (foreign people I’m talking about) or how they treat you. But GOD is never shallow. He cares about all of us- not because of what we look like or you speak with neither an accent nor how intelligent you are and more…, but because of WHO WE ARE.
Flip through your school yearbook or picture of friends and family. Pay special attention to all the different kinds of people you see. God made each person UNIQUE. You can thank God for the unique way he’s made you and for the way he’s made other people too.
So STOP judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.
Jesus said, “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
Honor one another above yourselves.
Jesus said, “do not judge, or you too will be judge. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judge, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
ACCEPT one another… just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

God bless you, Annette
