"From the moment you step through the heavy drapes into a room with colourful lanterns hanging from the ceiling you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d entered a bar in Berlin’s former East Side..." Gutter Magazine
"...a DIY charm rarely found in the East End today... the music’s great and the drinks are cheap..." ViewLondon

Influences
All styles and variations of music from all over the world, from different times of our musical, theatrical past. The advantage of the location enables the venue to have a fullfilling, varied, innovative and respectful space for the musicians/artists to perform to anyone who wants to support the incredible amount of creative talent, that just happens to be on our East London doorstep.
'The Hamlets of the Tower', an area of this old city's past that has left an impression of a mixed, cultured, ignorant, wealthy, impoverished, liberal, homophobic, interacial, racist community. A way of exsisting right between the worlds high flyers of the City and CanaryWharf.
An area rich in social history, our influences are an integral part of what Alastair and Rena are able to achieve, with their love for all that is good and beneficial to the Cable Street area, the evenings can only get better.
