Yeah, I like those sort of stations. There is one here that plays those exact same times on Sunday, but it is Soundscapes music. There's gonna be a Bluegrass fest here down the road from me sometime soon that I need to attend. I just wonder if your Northern city is any better than Birmingham, Alabama, lol. That's one city to never visit. I'm not sure if I had mentioned it, but you should try to get to Savannah, Georgia, sometime. Beautiful Southern city.

Yeah, a lot of people get the Saint Andrew's flag confused with the Stars and Bars. The Stars and Bars is the 1st national flag, which the current Georgia state flag also got its design from. I am not sure if the Confederate Saint Andrew's flag got its design from William, but I do know it was a Scotch-Irish design, and that dozens and dozens of other designs were presented before this. The Leonidas Polk flag is one that may have been designed after the Saint George flag of England, or the Saint David flag of Wales, but I think Polk was a Catholic. I was raised as a Presbytarian. A lot of the Appalachian folks are Presbytarians, and they also use the "R" sound at the end of their words. Instead of "tobacco", they will say "backer". Or, instead of "tomorrow", they will say "Tomarr". I use this dialect, but I am not as natural as the Appalachian folks, and their accent is far more twangy than mine. My pawpaw shared their dialect and language, while my grandma had an accent, voice, and dialect a lot like Native Americans.
Haha, I didn't know anyone read about my income plan. More people read my stuff than I realize. Anyway, that is all interesting about the languages and such. I have no knowledge in that area. But, I do study Southern dialect and anthropology, which is relative to your interest in languages and ethnic origins. The most interesting word in Dixie, from my perspective, is "wallago". This may actually even be spoken in other regions, but I've noticed almost every Southerner, no matter their background, says "wallago" as a single word to mean "a while ago". I reckon this is how language has evolved :-)
