Jam Central Records, a Buckinghamshire record label was originally founded and launched in 2001 by Stuart Robb and Dennis Hall.
Jam Central Records is one of the rising stars of the UK music industry. An independent record label with a growing roster of original, new talent covering a variety of music genres; indie, rock/metal, acoustic and pop music.
Jam Central staff bring over 20 years combined music industry experience to the group. This experience covers music & studio production, artist management, music sales and A&R. Jam Central also brings a very refreshing new attitude to the industry to give a truly fair deal to all aspiring artists.
Jam Central Records have also helped create and establish a new annual music festival called the ‘Aylesbury Showcase - Hobble on the Cobbles' Festival.
Local 'legend' John OTWAY headlined this event in 2006.
In 2007, JCR/Aylesbury Showcase managed to achieve something that no-one else has achieved for the past 20 years..!
FISH headlined the main stage at the free all-day music festival in Market Square, and for the encore performed an exclusive rendition of "Market Square Heroes" with the original MARILLION line-up; Steve Rothery, Ian Mosley, Pete Trewavas and Mark Kelly. This much publicised and talked about event has helped put Aylesbury Showcase firmly in the public eye, and the gig heard 'around the world'.
In 2008 EDDIE & THE HOT RODS headlined this festival, which became known as "Buckinghamshire's largest free all-day music festival".
In 2009 KAJAGOOGOO headlined Hobble on the Cobbles in front of the biggest audience and crowd to date.
