About me: So, what to say? Well, I'm an actor who is proud to have participated in a variety of productions on both stage and screen virtually my entire life! In addition to that, I have worked off stage and screen in nearly all technical aspects of both industries. And in 2007, I added to that technical base by completing my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration specializing in Operations Management. Some of my finshed projects that I have participated in are Dance of the Dead, Outrage, and Love on the Rocks.
I've been in several stage productions throughout my life, including Best Little Whore House in Texas, Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Honk!, and Arsenic and Old Lace. I enjoy stage work, but am working seriously on my film career at this point.
Released on October 14, 2008, I participated on the production, Dance of the Dead, by Bishop Studios and Bleiberg Entertainment, in the capacity of Production Designer and as the character Gravedigger. Bleiberg and Bishop also made The Other Side, which I worked on as a Hell Escapee and Key Grip. Dance is the second project I've worked with Gregg Bishop on, and I really enjoyed it, despite crazy schedules and trying to work around the insane weather we were having. I also worked on the production Outrage followed by Love on the Rocks where I played the character of Creepy Guy as well as being a Key Set Designer.
I have also recently been working with the Atlanta Sketch Comedy Troupe known as Sketchworks. The only real sketch comedy group in Atlanta, it's reminiscent of Saturday Night Live when it was still funny.
In January 2008, I returned to the set of Outrage for a stunt reshoot in which I rigged Kenny Lesco falling down a cliff and off a waterfall. Unfortunately, I did no acting in that one, but my work is there nonetheless. I was assisted by Jason "Lucky" Parker and Rob Acox without whom I would not have been successful!
This year I appeared in Dixie Times, a dramedy about real life in the South! I performed for the movie in the role of the Redneck Pot Grower, Dorsey Hall. Before you draw any conclusions, no, I did not method act!!! And with that, there are auditions on the horizons as well, so keep your eye out for more updates.
Anyway, that's me for now, check back for more updates as they occur, and I will also be be blogging my life in the crazy world of film making.
Further kudos to:
YourAct, without whom I probably wouldn't have been able to find/been invited to/be in this great opportunty!
Who I'd like to meet: The cast of Farscape & The Shield, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, and Angelina Jolie (I would love to sit and talk with her believe it or not). Michael Chiklis, the lovely Andrea Parker, Christina Ricci, Elizabeth Banks (the most beautiful smile ever captured on film), Fabiana Udenio, Jeri Ryan, Ice Cube (an incredible actor, actually), Rachel Weisz, Ice Tea (like my other Ice), and the immortal Raquel Welch. The Pussycat Dolls all at once and alone!
Anyone and everyone at Budweiser. A company with a lot of class! If you watch the following video, keep a box of Kleenex handy. We Remember!
From Snopes: Here is the famous commercial Budweiser produced after 9/11. They aired it only once, at the Super bowl in January of '02, so as not to benefit financially from it — they just wanted to acknowledge the tragic event. This is so consistent with a company who always does things with a ton of class! Can you imagine what the cost was — considering ... With the anniversary of this horrific event fast approaching, it's a good time to keep this circulating. We will NEVER forget.
Known as both "Respect" and "Clydesdale Respect". Enjoy!
