   About James Argyle
From a young age, I have always enjoyed making & listening to music. I first picked up a guitar at the age of 7, influenced by Elvis Presley records. A few years later I played my first pub gig on a family holiday aged 11. In my early years I had a good musical education, with some of the best guitar tutors in the West Midlands. I covered many areas & styles of music, rock blues reggae jazz etc.. I was very interested in the acoustic fingerstyle players such as Michael Hedges, Laurence Juber & Eric Roche. This led me on to win Takamine’s Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 1997 at the Bath International Guitar Festival, held at Bath University during the summer months. During the festival period, I was able to study with Eric Roche, Martin Simpson & Laurence Juber.

I play a wide range of musical styles, everything from percussive acoustic guitar instrumentals, with singer-songwriters, to good old lead based rock/blues. Along with my solo gigs, I play throughout the UK & Ireland with Staffordshire based acoustic blues / rock outfit Urban Stew, and also as a member of 'The Parish Music Box' - A London based, 'British Lounge Country' group, check us out, you'll find them below in my top friends. If you are requiring tuition, I can offer guitar tuition from my home in Surrey, any style, acoustic & electric, just send us a message via the links above. PS... You'll never guess... I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Hello and a slightly belated happy new year

I just thought I'd let you know that we have some great price deals on at the moment at the studio for our recording and mastering services. If your not sure about what we do I'll give you a brief update (for more details or to send us an enquiry please visit www.cosmicstudios.co.uk)
‘Cosmic Studios know that recordings are very important for artists and record labels. We also know that it can be very frustrating when you don't get the right results. Cosmic provide Professionally Produced Recordings in a relaxed and creative environment, with the minimum of fuss so that you are satisfied with the result.

We regularly work in conjunction with record labels having had several commercial releases to date produced by Cosmic Studios. This means that if you are an artist or a label you can be assured of our attention to detail both recording and mastering.

We realise that every client has different goals so we aim to be flexible and individually tailor recording and mastering packages to suit your needs.

Whether your project is a 3-Track Demo, Live Concert, Performing to backing tracks, Full Album, or any other recording project, Cosmic will call on our experience so that you can concentrate on your creativity whilst we help produce the sound you are looking for.

The Studio at Silence has a creative and artistic atmosphere which is located in the heart of the beautiful sprawling grounds of Trentham Lakes and Gardens Leisure Estate in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

All our packages include Mastering as standard so there are no hidden costs to worry about’

All the best

Paul
