I'm James Beresford though I go by a few names, some more tasteful than others. I'm a Guitar player from South Carolina. I've been all over the world and met all kinds of people and heard all kinds of music. I've been heavily influenced by Blues, Rock, Jazz and Funk as well as all kinds of others and I love to stretch my ears with new sounds. I love making music and sharing music with people. I believe music has the power to heal.
James Beresford is currently living in Columbia, South Carolina, focusing on composing and teaching along side mentor/partner Robert Newton.
I was thinking that my unicorn princess castle house kingdom was in need of some kind of evil sorcerer to spice things up a little. You know, the pink and pretty and rainbowclouds get a little boring after a while. I thought maybe that you could be the evil rock and roll badie man who blows all our minds while simultaneously rocking and rolling. At the same time. All at once. I would so give you a pirate ship for that.
I trust you will not regret attending our Rock and Roll show at Five Points Pub Nov 22nd at 10 pm with Hoots and Hellmouth. We guarantee you will enjoy yourself! Good times my friend, good times.

Hello, there. We'd like to invite you to a special 2 night event at 5 Points Pub on July 11 and 12. It'll be Josh Roberts and the Hinges, Scott Baston and the News Architects, and Woodwork Roadshow both nights. One night tickets are $10, shows start at 9, but if you buy a ticket for both nights for $15 you get a free booze and food party at 8 each night. Good deal, eh? We're excited and we hope to see you there.
Hello, there. We request the honor of your presence at Headliners on Friday, May 16th with Part Bear and Sleep Therapy, for a good old-fashioned Rock and Roll show. It will be fun, I'm telling you. -Josh Roberts
