About me:
I was born in India in May 1899, but myspace will not let me be that old! I fought in the first world war as a camel pilot and in the second as a spitfire pilot. After the war I became a detective at Scotland Yard, all be it a flying detective!

A chap called Captain W.E.Johns wrote several accounts of my adventures in a series of books.

Hello James,

Maybe you saw it elsewhere, but I'd still like to inform you about the International Mega Auction Biggles / Captain W.E. Johns organised by the I.B.A. on October 18th. Almost 400 items will be auctioned, that is more than 1200 books, illustrations audiocassettes etc. Mostly in English and not only Biggles, but also all the other books W.E. Johns wrote. Both his juvenile and his adult titles are included.

If you want to place a few bids yourself than you don't have to come all the way to the Netherlands. Bids by e-mail are also accepted. They can be sent to penningmeester@biggles.nl. However, these bids should be received not later than October 12th in order to be able to process all bids timely.
